I always have the loveliest little lunch stop here. The bagels are my personal favourite! The girls are always so lovely and it’s a place I can come into by myself with a lovely atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

One of the best little coffee shops I’ve been to in a long while. Lovely atmosphere, a lot of heart and soul has been put into it and you can really tell from the moment you walk in. Overall a very positive experience through and through and can easily see myself becoming a regular.
My daughter treated me to pancakes on pancake day. They were delicious. We had the Nutella and cream pancakes. The Brown Bear is a lovely friendly coffee shop with a good choice of food at reasonable prices. Lovely staff too.

We had a great fun evening trying to master the art of painting with acrylics. All materials were provided and we came home with a completed picture each. Excellent! I must say that Shannon and her team were very welcoming and kept us supplied with any drinks . It is such a lovely individual coffee shop with fabulous home made bagels. I have tried the breakfast and that was superb too. All in all a very pleasant place to meet friends or while away an hour or so. Congratulations to Shannon and her great team
Absolutely sensational place - I genuinely didn't realise what bagels were supposed to taste like until we visited Brown Bear! Incredible baked goods and amazing service when my partner organised an American Afternoon Tea for my birthday. Such a wonderful establishment and one we always think of on a lazy Sunday morning.
